The unforgettable Blue Boy, grand-père de Rainmaker
Rainmaker is a special mare, just like De Ja Blue is. She is a daughter of the famous stallion Medecin Man and a granddaughter of the unforgettable Blue Boy.
For a broodmare, being Blue Boy-Gold Melody Boy, so close to the source of the bloodline gives exceptional broodmares. American breeders know it well who always look for broodmares with very concentrated Blue Boy-Gold Melody Boy blood.

She has a stunning beauty and looks exactly like an Arabian mare. She gallops with her tail up like a purebred and it is an ever renewed pleasure to watch her in the pastures.
In spite of the fact that she has already had many foals, she is as slim and graceful as ever. She passes on and even transcends her qualities to her foals.

She has given us four foals. Rainmaker was in foal when she arrived at Modello and she gave birth to Purple Rain, whose father is no other than Champion Farms Nighthawk
Then, she had a foal every following year from our stallion Phantom. We will not change this crossbreeding that does great things!
In 2008-2009, Rainmaker was allowed a break and now she is again expecting a foal from Phantom, of course, for 2010!
